My name is Nicki and I'm the founder of Barefoot Holistic Health. I have been working in natural therapies and holistic health since 2008. I'm passionate about guiding others through their health challenges and empowering them to achieve their health goals and restore balance in their lives. I hold a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy as well as Diplomas in Remedial Massage, Musculoskeletal Therapy, and Aromatherapy. I'm also a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Instructor. As a Naturopath, I have over a decade of experience supporting patients through a wide range of complex health issues including inflammatory bowel disease, mental health issues and women's hormonal health and fertility. As a mother of three, I am very much a family practitioner and have experience treating babies and children, as well as supporting women through every stage of motherhood, from preconception through to pregnancy and postnatal care. I am a certified M.I.N.D.D Practitioner (Metabolic, Immunologic, Neurologic, Digestive, Developmental) and has specialised training in naturally treating paediatric disorders such as ADHD, asthma, allergies, autism, chronic illness, depression, learning and language delay, and digestive and behavioural disorders. I am also a certified G.E.M.M Practitioner (Gut Ecology and Metabolic Modulation). G.E.M.M provides evidence-based nutraceutical and functional food formulations with potent nutrigenomic activity that help repair and restore gut ecology, treat digestive disorders and inflammatory bowel diseases, and treat metabolic disorders and hormonal imbalances. I have over 16 years experience as a massage therapist and offer Remedial Massage, Musculoskeletal Therapy as well as specialised Aromatherapy Massage and Lymphatic Drainage Massage. I also have a special interest in holistic pregnancy care and offer Pregnancy Massage. As a yoga instructor, my classes are an invitation to discover a deeper connection between the body, mind and spirit. Using creative sequencing, energising breath to movement flows, and adaptive and supportive instruction to uplift and empower people to shine their brightest. I hope to see you in clinic or on the mat soon!
"Health is possible in many different sizes. I would love to guide you to feed yourself well so that you can think, feel, move, sleep and live fully nourished". About me: Raised with a wonderful Lithuanian food culture and a background in dance, Georgina knew from a young age that she wanted to work as a dietitian. Since graduating in 2017 she has worked as a dietitian in the community, at Calvary Hospital and in private practice. Georgina loves educating people about nutrition and she places a strong focus on positive body image and taking a holistic approach to achieving good health. Georgina enjoys tackling a variety of different conditions but has a strong interest in treating those suffering gastrointestinal upset, hormonal imbalances, disordered eating, or an eating disorder. Georgina loves to work with people who want to build a better relationship with food. She does not do quick fixes or fad diets but will work alongside you to help you find what works best for you. When not working, you can find Georgina exploring the beautiful island state, taking a dance class, or performing in a musical.
