Hello, I’m Owen Fisher – a naturopath, caregiver, scientist, and passionate advocate for holistic healing. My journey into naturopathy has been anything but traditional, and that’s what makes my approach unique. With a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Master’s in Environmental Management, I spent over a decade working in environmental and HSE roles in the mining industry. My work was grounded in data analysis, compliance, and problem-solving—skills that now form the foundation of my evidence-based naturopathic practice. My path changed dramatically when my youngest son was diagnosed with autism at just 20 months of age. I soon became the primary caregiver for him and his two older brothers. When my son was just over two years old, a chance meeting with a naturopath introduced us to a more holistic and functional medicine approach. The improvements we saw in his condition were profound—and this experience sparked a deep personal interest in naturopathy. After several years of exploring integrative approaches and supporting my family’s health journey, I decided to formally study naturopathy. In 2024, my son was diagnosed with two rare genetic conditions — FOXP1 syndrome and an SLC6A1 variant — which further cemented my commitment to supporting children and families navigating complex health challenges. Today, I operate a naturopathic clinic in Perth, offering both in-person and telehealth consultations. I work with clients across a range of health concerns, with a particular focus on: • Gut and immune health • Cognitive and developmental conditions • Thyroid and anxiety-related issues • Sleep and anxiety issues I also offer supportive therapies such as red-light therapy and hyperbaric oxygen treatments, integrating science and natural medicine to guide people toward their best health outcomes. I am a strong believer in a collaborative approach and work together with allied health professionals and alternative therapists. Some of the team that I meet at least monthly are neurologists, immunologists, paediatricians, OTs, PTs, Chinese herbalists and acupuncturists, and developmental therapists. Outside the clinic, I’m a coordinator for the Western Australia Chapter of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA), supporting community, education, and professional development for our local practitioners. Away from work, I’m a proud husband and father to three boys. I enjoy staying active through CrossFit and value community, resilience, and continuous learning. While I am available for speaking events and workshops, my primary focus remains on client care and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. If you're looking for a naturopath who understands both the clinical and personal sides of chronic and complex health conditions, I’d be honoured to work with you.
Dr. Ron is one of Australia’s leading holistic health advocates. Over 40 years of clinical practice he has developed a holistic approach to health and wellness, as well as a comprehensive model of how stress impacts our lives. He is a co-founder of the Sydney Holistic Dental Centre focused on oral health and its impact on systemic health. His 2018 book A Life Less Stressed: The 5 pillars of Health and wellness has been published internationally. His weekly podcast Unstress with Dr. Ron Ehrlich. explores and expands on themes of his book, with world leaders on a wide range of health and environmental issues, workplace wellbeing, and the politics of public health. In 1998, Dr. Ron gained his Fellowship in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (FACNEM). He is a past president of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) of which he is a Life Member. Dr. Ron also has a Fellowship in Lifestyle Medicine (FASLM). In 2013 Dr. Ron completed his Level 1 Executive Coaching qualification (CIECL) with the Institute of Executive Coaching & Leadership (IECL) In 2007 he co-founded Nourishing Australia, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to informing, educating, and inspiring people about the critical importance of healthy soils, nutrient-dense foods, and regenerative agriculture, bringing together principles of holistic healthcare and holistic farm management for the health of people, communities and ultimately, our planet. In 2023 he launched Unstress Health, focused on building a community with a shared interest in holistic healthcare and management. Having moved from clinical practice to Executive Health coaching …. Noting, we are all the ‘executives’ of our own lives….. and he is also focused on the world of ‘workplace wellbeing’. Dr. Ron’s passion is to empower individuals to fulfill their potential, take control of their health, build resilience, and be the best they can be. Why Health Coaching? To use an old analogy, the doctor gives the patient a fish so she can eat for a day, whereas the coach teaches the client to fish so she can eat for a lifetime. Change is hard. Making lasting changes that improve your health can be even harder. One study found fewer than 5% of adults engage in the top health behaviours, and only 20% of adults are thriving. Don't we all want to feel good, avoid chronic disease, build meaningful relationships, watch our children and grandchildren grow, perform well at work and have the energy to do all the things we love to do? Health coaching is a personalised and collaborative approach to achieving your wellbeing goals. It is a partnership between you and Dr Ron Ehrlich, working together to navigate the path to a balanced and vibrant life.

I am a Functional Nutrition Consultant and Certified GAPS Practitioner and mum of three. I'm dedicated to helping others achieve their health goals by addressing the root cause of imbalances, conditions and any other aspect they want to improve. I combine evidence-based but also anecdotal cases using traditional and holistic practices to support wellness and help individuals reclaim their health. I love to simply help people make better choices for themselves and their family but also felt that studying GAPS would elevate my knowledge so I could educate and empower people to go that bit further to heal their gut which in turn, takes care of the plethora of conditions people are faced with amidst today's environmental and lifestyle challenges. I have a huge interest in traditional cooking, I love fermenting and embrace the slower style of food prep but understand the pressures of raising a family and bringing nutrient rich food to the table. Personally, I have implemented GAPS and am blown away by what small changes can be made when you integrate healing foods and the "knock on" effect with other issues, I want to educate others because I believe any condition can be improved.
