Jo is a passionate and experienced Western Herbal Medicine practitioner dedicated to helping people achieve better health, vitality, and wellbeing through personalised natural healthcare. With more than 22 years in clinical practice, Jo combines extensive knowledge, ongoing research, and a genuine commitment to supporting each person's unique health journey.

After initially working in corporate accounting, Jo discovered her true calling in natural medicine and graduated from Nature Care College in Sydney in 2004. Since then, she has worked in private practice across Sydney, helping individuals and families address a wide range of health concerns including digestive health, perimenopause, hormonal balance, dementia, immune health, recurrent infections, and healthy ageing.

A defining influence on Jo's career was a visit to the renowned herbal apothecary Napier's in Edinburgh, Scotland. Inspired by the traditional craft of creating bespoke herbal remedies, she established Herbadashery in 2013, where she continues to formulate her own range of herbal bitters, teas, elixirs, syrups, and customised herbal medicines. Her goal is to make high-quality herbal healthcare both accessible and practical for everyday life.
Jo is known for her thorough, individualised approach. She focuses not only on symptoms but also on identifying and addressing underlying causes of ill health. She continually expands her knowledge through professional development, including studies in medical astrology with Kira Sutherland and ongoing training as an End of Life Doula.

As a full member of the NHAA, Jo offers evidence-informed herbal medicine tailored to each client's needs.
