Overview

Kerry O’Bryan is an experienced Sports Dietitian, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and University Lecturer who is extremely passionate about performance health and longevity, specifically for men – developing adolescent, athlete, men’s health, through to men in their 70’s!
 
Currently working with Queensland Academy of Sport and Bond University, over the past 13 years Kerry has worked with many sporting teams and organisations (see below) within networks of highly skilled multi-disciplinary practitioners, with the unified goal of – Performance Health. 
 
Performance health is a concept that advocates a person must first be “healthy” (mental/mood, metabolic & physical) to be able to perform at their best. Performance health is relevant for any person of any background and is certainly not limited to physical performance. While this may sound obvious, the reality is that today we face many social and environmental barriers/challenges that prevent us from achieving optimal health.
 
Nutrition and exercise play a critical role in supporting an individuals’ health, and our ability to perform at our best. Performance goals vary from person to person, and can be applicable to many areas of life, work, or sporting performance –
