Kristen is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over a decade of clinical experience, holding additional certifications in Fertility, Prenatal and Paediatric Nutrition, as well as SOS Feeding Therapy. She brings extensive paediatric expertise from her time at The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, where she specialised in Metabolic Medicine.

After becoming a mother herself, Kristen founded Vital Start Nutrition, blending her professional knowledge with lived experience. This unique perspective allows her to truly understand the real-life challenges and joys that come with this season of life.

With a strong belief that food is more than just fuel, Kristen is dedicated to the role nutrition plays in shaping long-term health, not only in the present but for future generations. Her special interest lies in epigenetics and how everyday food choices can positively influence lifelong wellbeing.

Kristen works closely with clients throughout the early life journey, from fertility and preconception, through pregnancy and postpartum, and into infancy and toddlerhood. She combines evidence-based expertise with a practical, compassionate approach to support clients in making lasting, meaningful changes. Whether working with individuals or families, Kristen brings warmth, clarity, and a genuine desire to see others thrive.
