Naina is an anti-diet dietitian who cares deeply about helping people feel at ease with food, their body, and health. They have a strong interest in supporting people with diabetes through a whole-person approach — looking at the mind, body, and intuition together, not just numbers or diets. Naina uses a weight-inclusive approach, meaning they support health and wellbeing without focusing on weight or size. They enjoy helping people explore movement and self-care in ways that feel natural and enjoyable. Naina also has a special interest in supporting people who are culturally diverse and neurodivergent whilst living with chronic conditions, like diabetes. While they don’t have all the answers, Naina values lived experience and will always do their best to listen and learn alongside their clients. She is curious about how health is shaped not only by food and exercise, but also by the bigger picture — such as culture, access to healthcare, stress, and the environment we live in. Naina has worked in hospitals, mental health services, and community settings across Australia. They believe in walking side by side with clients, focusing on what matters most to each person, rather than setting strict rules or goals. I'm Tara, a qualified clinical naturopath specialising in gut health, skin, and hormones. My personal journey with Crohn's disease, PCOS, and ADHD has given me a deep understanding of what it feels like to live in a body that’s undernourished, inflamed, and exhausted. I’ve experienced the emotional rollercoaster of dealing with imbalances that trigger symptoms like acne and fatigue. These experiences have enabled me to connect with my body and shown me how to thrive by addressing the root cause, rather than being stuck in an endless cycle of managing symptoms. I am here to provide you with the tools, knowledge, and unwavering support to make this your reality too. My approach is centred around meeting you where you’re at. It's my mission to create achievable treatment plans that are tailored to your energy levels and lifestyle, ensuring long term success. If you’re ready to end the guessing games, uncover your root cause, and create a clear path forward, I'm glad you've found me. I’m a Naturopath and GAPS Practitioner with over 22 years of experience, specialising in gut health and its impact on the rest of the body — particularly skin health, food intolerances, and immune function. My interest in digestive health grew out of my own experience. I lived with long-term fatigue and health issues that worsened after the birth of my son. I was eventually diagnosed with autoimmune low thyroid function, linked to increased intestinal permeability (commonly referred to as "leaky gut"). I now support my digestion as part of managing my health — a challenge that’s given me firsthand insight into how difficult dietary changes can be in real life. Because of this, I go beyond identifying the underlying cause in my clinical work. I provide practical support — including recipes and strategies for gut health while managing food sensitivities. I aim to make dietary changes feel realistic and sustainable. I hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine), an Advanced Diploma of Health Science (Naturopathy), a Diploma of Health in Nutrition, a Diploma of Health in Herbal Medicine and I am a certified GAPS practitioner. Alongside clinic work, I’ve worked in the health food industry and have provided education to pharmacy assistants, fellow practitioners, and the general public across Australia.
