Pip Reed — Women's Health Clinical Nutritionist I specialise in women's hormone health through advanced functional testing that finds the root cause of why your body isn't responding. Most of the women I work with have been told their results are normal. They've tried everything. And they're still exhausted, inflamed, and unable to shift weight. The problem was never effort. It was that nobody had looked at the full picture. I investigate. I test. I connect the dots. My clinical focus includes hormone imbalance, weight resistance, endometriosis, PCOS, uterine fibroids, perimenopause, menopause, infertility, thyroid disorders, chronic stress and burnout, gut dysfunction, histamine intolerance, mast cell activation, mental health, acne and chronic inflammation. Every client starts with a Clinical Case Review — a private session where I review your full history, symptoms and test results together, identify what's actually driving how you feel, and map exactly what I'd do about it. You leave with clarity and a plan. I have been a registered clinical nutritionist for 15 years. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Nutritional Medicine and a Bachelor of Business, and I am a current member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) and the International Association of Corneotherapy (IAC). I consult worldwide via online video and phone. Featured in Marie Claire, Elle, OK!, NW, Wellness By Design, Get Me Glow, Channel Ten News and Triple J. When I came to Naturopathy, it was to resolve my personal health challenges. I felt let down by the current medical model and lost in a plethora of information to get to the bottom of why I was feeling just terrible, despite being one of the ‘healthiest’ people I knew! I was unable to get the support I needed from our medical system, constrained by unrealistically short appointments and with no clearly diagnosed illness. Ultimately, I was compelled to look for answers elsewhere, finding them in the world of natural therapies and a wholistic approach. My commitment to all my patients is to make sure you get the support you need, to go beyond the surface level approach, understand the drivers behind your symptoms, and identify which changes can help you get back on top of your game. Let’s make this life one of joy and resilience!
I help women, children and men understand and celebrate the way their bodies can thrive naturally. Consulting online. Special interests include gut health, hormones, immune health, stress, anxiety, fatigue and skin health.
I am a qualified Naturopath (BHSc) and the founder of Amerald Naturopathy. My approach to health is holistic, individualised and grounded in the understanding that the body is an interconnected system. Rather than focusing solely on individual symptoms, I look more deeply at the factors that may be contributing to a person’s health concerns, including nutrition, digestive function, hormones, nervous system health, immune function, lifestyle, environment and emotional wellbeing. I believe the body has an incredible innate capacity to heal, regulate and restore balance when it is given the right conditions and support. Sometimes, however, it needs a little extra guidance. My role is to help identify where support may be needed and work alongside my clients to create a realistic, personalised path forward. My practice combines traditional naturopathic principles and the healing properties of food, plants and natural medicines with current scientific research, pathology and functional testing where appropriate. Treatment may incorporate nutritional medicine, herbal medicine, nutraceuticals, dietary and lifestyle support, nervous system regulation and other complementary approaches. I am a mother of four and have always had a deep connection with nature, plants and natural healing. Even as a child, I was fascinated by the natural world and felt there was something incredibly powerful in the way plants, food and our environment interact with the human body. This connection ultimately led me to naturopathy and continues to influence the way I practise today. I work with people across all stages of life, from babies and children through adolescence, adulthood, pregnancy, postpartum and healthy ageing. I particularly enjoy working with complex or long-standing presentations where multiple systems may be involved, taking the time to explore the bigger picture rather than viewing symptoms in isolation. My areas of particular interest include brain and nervous system health, hormonal and endocrine health, digestive and microbiome health, immune health, allergies and intolerances, mental wellbeing, children’s health and supporting people experiencing complex or interconnected health concerns. I value an integrative approach to healthcare and believe naturopathic and conventional medicine can work alongside one another. Where additional investigation, diagnosis or care is required, I encourage collaboration with GPs, specialists and other appropriately qualified health professionals. Education is also an important part of my work. I want my clients to leave with a better understanding of their own bodies—not simply a list of things to take or avoid. My aim is to provide a supportive and nurturing space where clients feel heard, understood and empowered to take an active role in their health. Amerald Naturopathy offers naturopathic care for babies, children, adolescents and adults. Special interests include: • Babies, toddlers and children’s health • Adolescent health • Women’s health • Men’s health • Hormonal and endocrine health • Fertility and reproductive health • Pregnancy and postpartum support • Brain and nervous system health • Mental and emotional wellbeing • Digestive and microbiome health • Allergies, intolerances and histamine-related presentations • Immune health • Thyroid and autoimmune conditions • Metabolic health • Cardiovascular health • Skin, hair and nail health • Nutritional deficiencies • Detoxification and elimination support • Healthy ageing • Supportive care alongside complex and chronic health conditions • Complementary support during conventional cancer care
I’m a Naturopath with over 17 years of clinical experience and a genuine passion for gut health. I love supporting my clients to reach their health goals through simple, realistic changes that align with the key pillars of wellbeing. For the past eight years, I’ve focused on gut-related issues, completing extensive training in this area and working alongside Dr. Jason Hawrelak at the Gut and Microbiome Clinic. This experience has deepened my understanding of the microbiome and its incredible impact on overall health. I’m also passionate about the connection between our gut, our planet, and our wellbeing — how the health of our environment and the health of our bodies are deeply intertwined. My goal is to help people feel their best while fostering a greater appreciation for the role we all play in supporting a healthier planet.
