Hi, I'm Rachel and I help people with chronic inflammatory health conditions. I love to take the time with my clients to help identify all of the factors contributing to their current health state. Sometimes there can be a number of factors contributing to ill health, and it's important to take adequate time to identify them. To find them I ask a lot of questions. I may also advise appropriate testing and then put together a tailored treatment plan just for you. Treatment plans are formulated not only to address symptoms, but on treating the root cause or causes of disharmony. My philosophy focuses on the connection between human well-being and the natural world, harmonizing traditional natural medicine principles with contemporary scientific advancements. While the core of Naturopathy revolves around comprehensive care, I have special interest in several domains. One of these areas is dermatological health, an interest that was ignited by my own transformative journey resolving severe teenage acne using natural medicine. Later in life my personal experience with Hashimoto's, an autoimmune thyroid condition, ignited my pursuit of Naturopathy as a mature student. I chose a path of natural healing that has allowed me to remain medication-free. I'm also really passionate about: • Immune health • Joint health • Cardiovascular care • Nervous system care • Preventative health care. I would love to see a future where well-being is nurtured through connection with nature and holistic wellness practices. If you feel I may be a great fit as part of your team to help you on your health journey, please email me at [email protected] to book an appointment indicating your preferred days and times. I work solely online, so you can see me in the comfort of your own home.
Kerry O’Bryan is an experienced Sports Dietitian, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and University Lecturer who is extremely passionate about performance health and longevity, specifically for men – developing adolescent, athlete, men’s health, through to men in their 70’s! Currently working with Queensland Academy of Sport and Bond University, over the past 13 years Kerry has worked with many sporting teams and organisations (see below) within networks of highly skilled multi-disciplinary practitioners, with the unified goal of – Performance Health. Performance health is a concept that advocates a person must first be “healthy” (mental/mood, metabolic & physical) to be able to perform at their best. Performance health is relevant for any person of any background and is certainly not limited to physical performance. While this may sound obvious, the reality is that today we face many social and environmental barriers/challenges that prevent us from achieving optimal health. Nutrition and exercise play a critical role in supporting an individuals’ health, and our ability to perform at our best. Performance goals vary from person to person, and can be applicable to many areas of life, work, or sporting performance – · Increased corporate mental performance · Favourable body composition change (e.g. sustainable weight loss, building or retaining muscle mass) · Recovery from injury or surgery · Ageing better · Improved sexual function / hormonal health · Optimal growth & development for adolescent · Peak athletic performance “Doesn’t matter whether you’re an athlete or bloke over 60 – I apply the same process of elite support using the best tools available. There is so much more we can do to monitor and improve our metabolic health and performance, in a space that has become very noisy with mixed messages, failed efforts and false hope.” With the right system that combines expert knowledge, tools, skills, and planning, you can be confident that you are putting your valuable time, energy and focus into the best approach to health and longevity that moves you toward achieving your goals.
Hello, my name is Cate, and I work as a Nutritionist and Menopause Specialist Coach located in Old Bar, NSW. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Health Science in Food & Nutrition, and I rely on a science-based approach for crafting my guidance plans and nutrition assessments. I specialise in addressing issues related to peri-menopause, menopause, and gut health. My professional background encompasses various roles, including nutrition consultation, health and wellness writing, recipe development, nutrition analysis, and menu planning. These experiences have offered me the opportunity to collaborate with individual clients and community groups, fostering inspiration and positive change. My personal journey with early-onset menopause, attributed to a history of breast cancer, led me to recognise a significant gap in support available for women grappling with symptoms during peri-menopause and menopause. This realisation ignited my passion for assisting women in understanding the underlying causes of their symptoms and making gradual lifestyle adjustments, with a specific emphasis on nutrition, enhancing sleep quality, and stress management. My primary focus centres on active listening to my patients and empowering them with knowledge about their health. I aim to enable individuals to achieve optimal well-being, while also taking proactive steps to help prevent future health issues and chronic diseases.
