I’m a Naturopath and GAPS Practitioner with over 22 years of experience, specialising in gut health and its impact on the rest of the body — particularly skin health, food intolerances, and immune function. My interest in digestive health grew out of my own experience. I lived with long-term fatigue and health issues that worsened after the birth of my son. I was eventually diagnosed with autoimmune low thyroid function, linked to increased intestinal permeability (commonly referred to as "leaky gut"). I now support my digestion as part of managing my health — a challenge that’s given me firsthand insight into how difficult dietary changes can be in real life. Because of this, I go beyond identifying the underlying cause in my clinical work. I provide practical support — including recipes and strategies for gut health while managing food sensitivities. I aim to make dietary changes feel realistic and sustainable. I hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine), an Advanced Diploma of Health Science (Naturopathy), a Diploma of Health in Nutrition, a Diploma of Health in Herbal Medicine and I am a certified GAPS practitioner. Alongside clinic work, I’ve worked in the health food industry and have provided education to pharmacy assistants, fellow practitioners, and the general public across Australia.

Physiotherapist | Researcher | Lecturer | Podcast Producer/Co-host | Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia Committee (WA). The journey from pain back to living can be a tough one, especially if you’re trying to navigate the complexities of the health system, new research, and the multitude of available treatments alone. I aim to simplify that for you, acting as a coach to empower you to back to living. Using a mind-body approach (sometimes called psychologically-informed physiotherapy), I help to: • Make sense of why you hurt (as there are many factors that contribute to pain, with tissue damage usually getting unfairly blamed) • Provide strategies to help you regain control of your symptoms during provocative or frightening tasks that you value • Help facilitate a lifestyle that promotes health, wellbeing, and healing in a holistic way. Grounded in research, this approach can be delivered in person or online via telehealth. My background in teaching and research at Curtin University, combined with my passion for providing digestible content means I am well positioned to support you on your growth and learning journey. Why not start by checking out our ’10 scientific facts about back pain’ infographic and videos published in the prestigious British Journal of Sports Medicine, or by checking out the podcast I co-founded and co-hosted called 'Empowered Beyond Pain'. Over the years working as a pharmacist, I became increasingly aware of the heavy burden that preventable, lifestyle-related chronic conditions place on individuals. This experience led me to expand my understanding of health beyond prescriptions - completing a bachelor’s degree in naturopathy (with distinction), followed by further training in lifestyle and environmental medicine. Today, I integrate both pharmaceutical insight and holistic care to support clients as a natural medicine practitioner. My approach combines evidence-based tools like functional testing and detailed case reviews with a deep understanding of medication interactions, nutritional needs, and lifestyle factors. By identifying imbalances across medications, diet, habits, and health history, I develop personalised care plans - using herbs, nutraceuticals, and supportive education to help you feel more energised, resilient, and in control of your health. My clinical focus includes: • Metabolic health: support for cardiovascular risk, thyroid function, insulin resistance, and healthy body composition • Digestive health: addressing gut dysfunction and improving overall digestion • Fatigue and energy support • Women’s health: including vaginal microbiome balance, candida, BV, PCOS, endometriosis, hormone-related symptoms (PMS, PMDD), fertility, perimenopause, and menopause • Mental wellbeing: stress, anxiety, OCD, and sleep optimisation • Children’s health: supporting the growth and development of young minds and bodies • Integrative medication reviews: Minimising medicine-related nutritional deficiencies, side effects and making recommendations to your GP to safely get you off your medications. When we work together, you’ll not only receive a tailored health plan - you’ll gain clarity on what your body needs and why, so you can build long-term wellbeing with confidence and clarity.
