Hi, I'm Zoe, a naturopath and herbalist who takes a compassionate, holistic approach to health. My aim is to help you restore balance and harmony in your body, mind and spirit, and to encompass all aspects of life where there may be imbalance. My focus is not just on symptom relief but on understanding the bigger picture, answering the questions, running the tests and most of all, educating my clients on what may benefit their bodies and often, how their bodies work. Always in collaboration with you. Often, recommendations will be herbal medicine, targeted natural supplements, and dietary and lifestyle adjustments to support the body’s innate ability to heal. Many times I will refer to other specialists for further support. My aim is to empower you and your own autonomy in your health journey. My biggest clinical passion is to support women through their changing cycles, particularly with hormone and cycle dysregulation, and preconception/pregnancy and post-partum journeys. Helping women understand the reasons for miscarriage and investigate for future success, whilst managing grief, is of particular interest to me. With that also comes supporting men or partners also in achieving the best outcomes of pregnancy and family planning. I have a strong focus on postpartum care, supporting women after childbirth in recovering their mental, physical and emotional health through optimising their nutrition, and healing the body with traditional herbal medicines. After struggling with multiple health issues throughout my life, including dysbiosis, food intolerances, fibromylagia, acne, menstrual irregularities, miscarriages, PMS, PMDD, iron deficiency and so much more. I found my journey of health firstly through food. I connected the dots of food triggers, with symptoms and changed my diet forever. I gradually learned to be more in tune with myself, and through Naturopathy, the impact that diet, stressors, exercise and our thoughts can have on our overall health. My greatest passion and past-time is growing medicinal plants and food, and teaching others how to do the same through workshops and talks. I am a grass roots herbalist, I encourage local foraging, sustainable herbalism, and community centric, hands-on, creative learning, sharing values and experience with others, like our ancestors did. I am an ally and supportive of the queer community and respect and welcome all individuals in my practice.

I am a qualified Naturopath (BHSc) and the founder of Amerald Naturopathy. My approach to health is holistic, individualised and grounded in the understanding that the body is an interconnected system. Rather than focusing solely on individual symptoms, I look more deeply at the factors that may be contributing to a person’s health concerns, including nutrition, digestive function, hormones, nervous system health, immune function, lifestyle, environment and emotional wellbeing. I believe the body has an incredible innate capacity to heal, regulate and restore balance when it is given the right conditions and support. Sometimes, however, it needs a little extra guidance. My role is to help identify where support may be needed and work alongside my clients to create a realistic, personalised path forward. My practice combines traditional naturopathic principles and the healing properties of food, plants and natural medicines with current scientific research, pathology and functional testing where appropriate. Treatment may incorporate nutritional medicine, herbal medicine, nutraceuticals, dietary and lifestyle support, nervous system regulation and other complementary approaches. I am a mother of four and have always had a deep connection with nature, plants and natural healing. Even as a child, I was fascinated by the natural world and felt there was something incredibly powerful in the way plants, food and our environment interact with the human body. This connection ultimately led me to naturopathy and continues to influence the way I practise today. I work with people across all stages of life, from babies and children through adolescence, adulthood, pregnancy, postpartum and healthy ageing. I particularly enjoy working with complex or long-standing presentations where multiple systems may be involved, taking the time to explore the bigger picture rather than viewing symptoms in isolation. My areas of particular interest include brain and nervous system health, hormonal and endocrine health, digestive and microbiome health, immune health, allergies and intolerances, mental wellbeing, children’s health and supporting people experiencing complex or interconnected health concerns. I value an integrative approach to healthcare and believe naturopathic and conventional medicine can work alongside one another. Where additional investigation, diagnosis or care is required, I encourage collaboration with GPs, specialists and other appropriately qualified health professionals. Education is also an important part of my work. I want my clients to leave with a better understanding of their own bodies—not simply a list of things to take or avoid. My aim is to provide a supportive and nurturing space where clients feel heard, understood and empowered to take an active role in their health. Amerald Naturopathy offers naturopathic care for babies, children, adolescents and adults. Special interests include: • Babies, toddlers and children’s health • Adolescent health • Women’s health • Men’s health • Hormonal and endocrine health • Fertility and reproductive health • Pregnancy and postpartum support • Brain and nervous system health • Mental and emotional wellbeing • Digestive and microbiome health • Allergies, intolerances and histamine-related presentations • Immune health • Thyroid and autoimmune conditions • Metabolic health • Cardiovascular health • Skin, hair and nail health • Nutritional deficiencies • Detoxification and elimination support • Healthy ageing • Supportive care alongside complex and chronic health conditions • Complementary support during conventional cancer care
