Lynn Joels

Naturopath

My passion for the health and wellbeing of children has been at the heart of my professional life for 24 years. A fully qualified naturopath and healthcare professional, I’ve worked in big corporate companies and smaller start-ups, and now in my own healthcare haven. But no matter where I worked it was always with the goal of improving the lives of the people whom I have the privilege of working with. Inspiring parents and their little ones to become their best selves makes my heart sing a happy song. Seeing kids become happier and healthier through the right diet and lifestyle support, tailored for their unique needs, is what drives me to succeed every day. I’m partner to Jez, auntie to two amazing nieces, fur-mum to pup Yogi, lover of nature, fairies, magic and unicorns (who isn’t? ;), beach lover, book worm and all-round health and wellness nerd. And Yogi - well he is an Australian Cobberdog. Bred to be a fabulous support dog for children and adults. He’s furry, fun and ever-so friendly. Loves a tummy tickle and a treat, so please feel free to say hi if you meet him in clinic.

Fleur Dean

Nutritionist

Nutritional Medicine is founded on the principle that nutrients, including essential micronutrients, are vital for the functioning of all the biochemical processes within our bodies. I like to focus on food as medicine first, alongside lifestyle choices and supplements only if required. When we are focussing on treating symptoms or diseases, we constantly search for any underlying causes, which can be genetic but are often related to nutritional, environmental and lifestyle factors. I like to focus on the mind, body and soul for optimal health. By focusing on each clients mind, body and soul, only then can we truely improve our health and wellbeing. I work with many health issues: Endometriosis - Founder of 'The Freedom From Endo Pain Process' - a 12 Week Program PCOS Menopause Heart health Sports Nutrition High cholesterol High blood pressure Diabetes Autoimmune diseases Digestive health Weight management Liver health Systemic inflammation and many more... I also offer Smart DNA testing and GUT microbiome testing.

HI, I’M VERA DAHLSTROM I love to help people improve their health. I completed my Naturopathic studies in 2000 and for the last 22 yrs I have been a practising naturopath with some time off to have two healthy babies, who are now healthy teenagers. I am happy to help all ages and conditions. My special interest areas include: 1. healthy ageing (especially as that is where I’m heading myself!) 2. women’s hormonal disorders (such as Endometriosis, Polycystic ovarian syndrome, Painful periods, Pre-mentrual syndrome and Fibroids) 3. Menopause My mother turned her health around through diet with the popular Pritikin program in the 1980’s (a lot has changed since then!). I still remember eating cracked buckwheat for breakfast and feeling like it was the end of everything! But what I remember most is my mother’s chronic migraines going away and her losing weight and looking great. I was sold on the power of nutrition. Herbal Medicine also became a passion when I took up naturopathic studies. Herbs are nature’s medicine and endlessly fascinating. Vera is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (Member No. 14373). Her qualifications include: Advanced Diploma of Health Science (Naturopathy), Diploma of Health Science (Herbal Medicine), Graduate Certificate in Human Nutrition, and many, many years ago: Bachelor of Economics.
