Georgia Betts

Nutritionist

Georgia Betts is a Melbourne based clinical nutritionist specialising in nutritional medicine and tailored therapeutic meal plans. Georgia embraces a balanced, whole-food approach, and has many years of experience in recipe development (this means, her food is delicious!). Georgia’s philosophy is simple: eating should be enjoyable, nourishing and non-restrictive. Georgia is highly skilled at identifying the root cause of health conditions, by taking a comprehensive case history, analysing pathology tests and interrupting functional and integrative tests. Georgia then uses food-as-medicine and nutraceutical supplementation in a personalised treatment plan to support the body back to health. Amongst all the “fads” and “diets” out there, Georgia delivers sustainable, evidence-based nutrition solutions. She is extremely passionate about the power of clinical food therapy that is grounded in quality science. Georgia has a natural ability to connect with her clients and understand their individual health goals. She also acknowledges the strong correlation between mental health and physical health. Georgia considers all of these aspects of health holistically when creating personalised treatment plans.

Pratima Barve

Naturopath

My name is Pratima Barve and I am extremely passionate about health and wellbeing. I always aim to achieve human body’s remarkable potential for self-healing from the inside out. My journey to Naturopathy While pursuing a degree in Marine science I experienced some health challenges of my own. During this time, I realised that the key to good health lies in a preventative and holistic multimodal approach which takes into account the body as a whole. This includes: Viewing each individual as absolutely unique. Addressing the root of illness rather than just its symptoms. Allowing nutrition to play its essential role. So, I decided to marry my passion with work and make this my prime focus by pursuing a career in homeopathy. After completing a Doctor's degree in homeopathy from India, I began teaching firstly at the College of Homeopathy in Auckland followed by the Australasian college of natural therapies in Sydney. While lecturing, I was also working as a clinic supervisor. With a growing interest in the fields of natural therapy, I completed my Naturopathic degree and since have transitioned to a full time practice. I am committed to embracing and promoting health for myself and anyone else who is keen to improve their wellbeing and feel abundantly vibrant! My Values My approach is to educate and empower my clients to take charge of their health I am constantly amazed at the results. Naturopathy and Homoeopathy works, especially when its applied with understanding, and a belief that optimum health is ours for the taking. My healthcare philosophy I believe in providing the best integrated healthcare possible by working within a framework of empathy, integrity, safety and professionalism. Whether a patient is suffering from a long-term chronic illness or wants to optimise their health, I believe in providing expert solutions for all using the best possible tools, modalities and the finest quality supplements and herbs available to us. How I like to help customers Before you come to see me, I will ask you to fill in a case history form with questions about your health now, and health history, family health history and genetics, current stress factors, the health of all your vital organs, foods etc. I would also like you to fill in a food diary over a short period.  What I enjoy about my work I am absolutely passionate about Homoeopathy and Naturopathy. It is such a powerful tool in both preventing and healing symptoms of disease. I personally believe without making any health claims that almost any chronic disease can improve with Natural Therapy. You just need to know what to do and what choices there are to make. Make a commitment and then be consistent. This is an amazing journey to take. You will be amazed how much your life can improve. If you have any questions for me please do get in touch. Thank you for taking the time to look at what I do.

Circle of Health

Nutritionist

The fundamental philosophy for Circle of Health is that all people should have the opportunity to live long, healthy lives. What I have learnt from my studies, life experiences and noticing gaps in the education of young adults aged 20 to 30 years, this business initiative has been developed to empower them to be manage their own health and wellbeing and establish preventative health practices with a commitment to sharing and providing education, information, strategies and motivation to improve their health and food choices to achieve optimal health and wellbeing. Circle of Health offers online consultation sessions to create a comprehensive health assessment and the development of a personalised treatment plan that considers the client's unique needs and supports their overall health and nutrition-related goals. Experiencing ongoing health issues from early childhood and growing up in a rural community on my grandparent's property provided an environment for healthy living, implementing sustainable and ethical practices with the farm to table process and in later life when I moved to the city, discovering the benefits of healthy dietary practices, exercise and lifestyle strategies recommended by Clinical Nutritionists, Dietitians and other holistic health professionals which ultimately led to the decision to study the Bachelor of Health Science (Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine).
