Menopause My mother turned her health around through diet with the popular Pritikin program in the 1980’s (a lot has changed since then!). I still remember eating cracked buckwheat for breakfast and feeling like it was the end of everything! But what I remember most is my mother’s chronic migraines going away and her losing weight and looking great. I was sold on the power of nutrition. Herbal Medicine also became a passion when I took up naturopathic studies. Herbs are nature’s medicine and endlessly fascinating.
