Dr Matt le Roux is a chiropractor and functional medicine practitioner with over 17 years of clinical experience, based at Wave Functional Health in Robina on the Gold Coast. Dr Matt holds two of the most rigorous certifications available in integrative healthcare. He is a Certified Practitioner of the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFMCP) and a Fellow of the American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners (ABAAHP). He is also a registered chiropractor with AHPRA and a trained Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) practitioner. His approach sits at the intersection of chiropractic care, functional neurology, and functional medicine. Rather than managing symptoms in isolation, Dr Matt investigates the interconnected systems of the body including the gut, brain, hormones, immune system, and nervous system to understand why a patient is unwell and build a personalised plan to address it at the root. Dr Matt works with patients experiencing chronic fatigue, gut dysfunction, brain fog, hormonal imbalances, autoimmune conditions, post-infection recovery, spinal and musculoskeletal pain, headaches, sports injuries, and nervous system dysregulation. He also works with high performers, athletes, and executives seeking to optimise their health and longevity. Clinical tools used at Wave Functional Health include advanced functional lab testing, HRV assessment, InBody 580 body composition analysis, DUTCH hormone testing, GI MAP stool analysis, and Frequency Specific Microcurrent therapy. In-clinic appointments are available at Suite 326, 34-36 Glenferrie Drive, Robina QLD 4226. Telehealth consultations are available for patients across Australia and internationally.
