Hi my name is Tayla, I am an accredited practicing dietitian who is invested in supporting individuals in working towards their goals in a sustainable and achievable way. It was through my own lived experience that I found a desire to become a dietitian. I value ensuring participants foster positive relationships with food, their body’s and exercise and will work with them every step of the way to achieve this, because I want to help individuals see that finding a positive relationship with food, exercise and their body is possible. I also have a key interest in working with athletic populations (or retired athletes) and working on their relationship with food to support their training. I acknowledge that disordered eating/eating disorders and body image concerns amongst athletic population is prevalent and I want to be there to help prevent as well as support those athletes in their unique journey within their sport. You are welcome to connect with me via email: [email protected] if you'd like to arrange an appointment
I’m a qualified nutritionist specialising in gut health and autoimmune disease. I support clients with everything from digestive symptoms like bloating and IBS to improving overall gut health, reducing chronic inflammation, and managing autoimmune symptoms. My approach looks at the many areas of wellbeing that influence gut health, chronic disease, and overall vitality, from nutrition and lifestyle to nervous system regulation and mindset. I also integrate functional testing where appropriate to create personalised, evidence-based programs tailored to each individual. Having lived with coeliac disease and autoimmune arthritis (JIA) since a young age, I understand firsthand the challenges that come with chronic illness and gut health struggles. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the body’s ability to heal when supported holistically. After many years of relying on medication to manage my autoimmune arthritis, I’m now in remission, managing my health through nutrition, lifestyle, and a balanced approach to wellness.
