Hi, I'm Victoria and I am here to help you achieve health in all seasons, no matter where you are starting from. I am passionate about seeing people heal from chronic disease and improve their mental and physical health. I am an AARPN registered Certified Practicing Nutritionist (CPN) with a bachelors degree in Clinical Nutrition. I believe in nutrition and lifestyle first, because if the foundation is poor you can throw every supplement under the sun at your body and it will only produce short term results at best. I am able to offer functional pathology testing and as an AARPN recognised CPN I have TGA schedule 1 exemption, meaning under Australian Law I have independent prescribing capacity and can prescribe personalised compounded nutraceuticals and practitioner only products to patients. My life experience and academic interests have drawn me to many areas of focus, particularly mitochondrial and metabolic dysfunction and the impacts it has on brain health; particularly mental health (including mood disorders - Bipolar Disorders, Major Depressive Disorder, GAD, and Panic Disorders) neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD & ASD), neuro-inflammation and cognitive decline. I have undertaken continued education in: - Clinical Care for Autistic Adults (Harvard Medical School) - Common Causes and Treatments of Depression in Children and Adolescents (Stanford School of Medicine) - Women’s Health: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (Stanford School of Medicine) Please note: EPC/ Chronic care plans are for patients without Private Health Insurance. Naturopathic practitioner with over 10 years clinical experience. Academic lecturer teaching up and coming naturopaths in the field. Currently completing Masters Degree in Genomics. My job as a practitioner is to find the root cause of your condition and work on it from there.
My name is Pratima Barve and I am extremely passionate about health and wellbeing. I always aim to achieve human body’s remarkable potential for self-healing from the inside out. My journey to Naturopathy While pursuing a degree in Marine science I experienced some health challenges of my own. During this time, I realised that the key to good health lies in a preventative and holistic multimodal approach which takes into account the body as a whole. This includes: Viewing each individual as absolutely unique. Addressing the root of illness rather than just its symptoms. Allowing nutrition to play its essential role. So, I decided to marry my passion with work and make this my prime focus by pursuing a career in homeopathy. After completing a Doctor's degree in homeopathy from India, I began teaching firstly at the College of Homeopathy in Auckland followed by the Australasian college of natural therapies in Sydney. While lecturing, I was also working as a clinic supervisor. With a growing interest in the fields of natural therapy, I completed my Naturopathic degree and since have transitioned to a full time practice. I am committed to embracing and promoting health for myself and anyone else who is keen to improve their wellbeing and feel abundantly vibrant! My Values My approach is to educate and empower my clients to take charge of their health I am constantly amazed at the results. Naturopathy and Homoeopathy works, especially when its applied with understanding, and a belief that optimum health is ours for the taking. My healthcare philosophy I believe in providing the best integrated healthcare possible by working within a framework of empathy, integrity, safety and professionalism. Whether a patient is suffering from a long-term chronic illness or wants to optimise their health, I believe in providing expert solutions for all using the best possible tools, modalities and the finest quality supplements and herbs available to us. How I like to help customers Before you come to see me, I will ask you to fill in a case history form with questions about your health now, and health history, family health history and genetics, current stress factors, the health of all your vital organs, foods etc. I would also like you to fill in a food diary over a short period. What I enjoy about my work I am absolutely passionate about Homoeopathy and Naturopathy. It is such a powerful tool in both preventing and healing symptoms of disease. I personally believe without making any health claims that almost any chronic disease can improve with Natural Therapy. You just need to know what to do and what choices there are to make. Make a commitment and then be consistent. This is an amazing journey to take. You will be amazed how much your life can improve. If you have any questions for me please do get in touch. Thank you for taking the time to look at what I do.
