I’m a Naturopath and GAPS Practitioner with over 22 years of experience, specialising in gut health and its impact on the rest of the body — particularly skin health, food intolerances, and immune function. My interest in digestive health grew out of my own experience. I lived with long-term fatigue and health issues that worsened after the birth of my son. I was eventually diagnosed with autoimmune low thyroid function, linked to increased intestinal permeability (commonly referred to as "leaky gut"). I now support my digestion as part of managing my health — a challenge that’s given me firsthand insight into how difficult dietary changes can be in real life. Because of this, I go beyond identifying the underlying cause in my clinical work. I provide practical support — including recipes and strategies for gut health while managing food sensitivities. I aim to make dietary changes feel realistic and sustainable. I hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine), an Advanced Diploma of Health Science (Naturopathy), a Diploma of Health in Nutrition, a Diploma of Health in Herbal Medicine and I am a certified GAPS practitioner. Alongside clinic work, I’ve worked in the health food industry and have provided education to pharmacy assistants, fellow practitioners, and the general public across Australia.

I am a naturopath based in Adelaide with a keen interest in healthy ageing, bone and lymphatic health and enhancing cognition, sleep, and mood. I love learning about the tiny truths of the body: fascia and other connective tissue, bioelectrics, glymphatics, as well as mitochondrial function. I also adore the big picture behind health - holism, vitalism and our interconnection with the rest of nature. For many years I worked as a flight attendant and now (as well as being a mother) enjoy helping others through my calling as a herbalist and nutritionist, having completed a Health Science Naturopathy degree. I have worked as the resident naturopath in a pharmacy setting and also have experience assisting osteogenic-loading, balance, strength and posture in a wellness centre using vibration technology and the emerging field of frequency medicine. I attempt to empower and kickstart each body's own intrinsic healing system to get my patients back towards their optimal health, wellness and vitality, especially in our later years. I use lifestyle and nutritional tweaks and love formulating personalised herbal medicine remedies, to assist each client individually. I offer in-person clinical appointments on Tuesdays, for my Adelaide clients within Kokoro Healing Collective at Findon, South Australia. Online and phone consultations are other ways I may be able to assist you. Please contact me if you don't see a time which suits you as I may be able to accommodate your requests.
Hi — I’m Tara, a naturopath based in Yallingup, Western Australia, with a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy). I’ve always been passionate about health, wellness and the healing power of plants, and over the years I’ve lived and travelled in many places around the world. When I moved to Australia, it felt like I had come home — and here I found a way to combine my love of nature, curiosity about human biology, and desire to support others’ wellbeing. I specialise in integrative, whole-person care — blending nutrition, herbal medicine and, when helpful, functional testing (genetic, microbiome or hormone) — to support mental-health, hormonal, gut and overall wellness. A big focus of my work is with people in a 28-day rehabilitation program: clients navigating addiction recovery, trauma or complex mental-health challenges. I also welcome those seeking support for hormonal imbalance, gut health, lifestyle-related concerns, or simply a path toward better long-term wellbeing. For me, naturopathy is about more than treating symptoms — it’s about supporting the whole person: body, mind, environment and life context. I strive to create a compassionate, respectful and collaborative space where you feel heard and empowered. I aim to help you understand your body’s needs, gently restore balance, and guide you toward sustainable health over time. When I’m not working with clients, I’m raising my children, caring for our rural property (animals, garden, meal planning, household routines), and weaving nourishment and rhythm into everyday life. I believe the way we live — the food we eat, the spaces we inhabit, the routines we keep — is deeply tied to health. If you’re looking for a practitioner who values connection, gentleness, and holistic wellness — someone who sees you beyond the symptoms — I’d be honored to walk beside you on your healing journey.
