Hello! I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian with three years of experience working predominantly in public healthcare and hospital settings across both inpatient and outpatient services. Working in these diverse and fast-paced environments has shaped my practical, compassionate and evidence-based approach to care. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with chronic disease management, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and metabolic conditions, as well as gastrointestinal disorders such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). I am passionate about providing nutrition advice that empowers clients to feel confident and in control of their health as I understand these conditions can be overwhelming at times. Now in private practice, I am excited to continue supporting clients across these clinical areas while further developing my expertise in women’s health. I have a strong interest in conditions such as endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and menopause, and I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure I provide the highest quality, up-to-date care in this space. Gemma is a highly experienced Naturopath with 25 years of practice and a passion for healthy living. She is a devoted mother to three wonderful children, one of whom has autism and an intellectual disability. This personal experience has given her unique insight into the importance of healthy eating and its impact on brain function, particularly for children with learning difficulties. Gemma also understands the challenges faced by families when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and she has made it her mission to inspire and empower others through her expertise. Gemma holds a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy, which has equipped her with a wealth of knowledge in natural health, nutrition and herbalism and is a current member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).
